Founded by Dr. Ying Wang in 2014, Bamboo Translation LLC is a language service provider based in North Carolina, USA, offering Chinese – English translation and interpreting services. Dr. Wang has multiple degrees in science and engineering field, including a PhD degree in paper science and engineering, a master’s degree in chemical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering. She is also an ATA certified translator in English-into-Chinese language pair.

In line with ISO 17100 – 2015, which is the latest version of the international standard for translation services, each member of our translation team has qualifications meeting at least one of the following criteria:

• A a college degree or above in translation;
• College degree or above in the source text domain with two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
• Five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

Our team consists of translators, revisers, reviewers, and proofreaders, with at least a master’s degree in science and engineering field, and some of us also have abundant industrial experiences. What is unique about our translation team is that our core members all have higher educations both from an accredited Chinese university and a university in an English-speaking country, enabling us to better understand the source language and render in the target language in proper terms and styles. What is also unique is that our team members are researchers with journal publications in their specialized fields, and some of us hold multiple patents, making us especially a good fit for translating highly technical documents and academic articles.

We offer translation service only in Chinese – English language pair, and specialize in technical translation. Because we focus, we can deliver better.
